To provide a suspension structure of an outboard motor which inhibits increase of weight and improves strength.SOLUTION: A lower mount 33 is a portion, which is located at a lowest position in a tilt down state, of a portion supporting an outboard motor body. Side swivel brackets 29L, 29R are rotatably supported on a tilt shaft at a front end 29Lb and a front end 29Rb and fixed to the lower mount 33 at a rear end 29La and a rear end 29Ra. The lower mount 33 is located between the front end 29Lb and the front end 29Rb in a direction parallel to a tilt axis line P0 and located at a position lower than the front end 29Lb and the front end 29Rb in the tilt down state. A virtual triangle 50 with vertices set to the front end 29Lb, the front end 29Rb, and the lower mount 33 when viewed from the rear is formed.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 6
