To provide a saddle-ride type vehicle that is able to improve traveling performance.SOLUTION: A saddle-ride type vehicle 10 includes a footrest 22 provided on a vehicle body 12. The footrest 22 has a center step 24 and a rear step 28. If a vertical bisector of a first line segment L1 connecting a front end E1 and a rear end E2 of the rear step 28 is defined as a first reference line R1 in a side view, a gravity center G of the saddle-ride type vehicle 10 is located forward and a ground point C1 of a rear wheel 16 is located rearward, with respect to the first reference line R1 in a state in which the first line segment L1 is oriented in a horizontal direction. If a straight line perpendicular to a second line segment L2 connecting a front end E3 and a rear end E4 of the center step 24 and passing through a rear end E4 of the center step 24 is defined as a second reference line L2, the gravity center G of the saddle-ride type vehicle 10 is located within 100 mm rearward or frontward and a ground point C2 of the rear wheel 16 is located rearward, with respect to the second reference line R2 when the vehicle body is horizontal.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2
