To provide a wheel support device for a wheelchair which achieves reduction of rotation torque of a wheel.SOLUTION: A wheel support device 9 for a wheelchair includes: a hub shaft 8 fixed to a vehicle body frame; a hub 10 which is provided at a center part of a wheel and integrally rotates with the wheel; and double row rolling bearings 11, 12 provided between an outer peripheral surface of the hub shaft 8 and an inner peripheral surface of the hub 10 and supporting the hub 10 in a manner that the hub 10 can rotate relative to the hub shaft 8. A liquid lubrication oil 14 for lubricating the double row rolling bearings 11, 12 is enclosed between the outer peripheral surface of the hub shaft 8 and the inner peripheral surface of the hub 10.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 6
