To appropriately perform SOC reduction control when a slope-descending is predicted in a travel path, according to a battery temperature.SOLUTION: A hybrid vehicle includes a power generation motor generator that is driven by an internal combustion engine, and a travel motor generator that is driven by a battery. In slope-descending, power is recovered by regeneration. When a slope-descending is predicted in a travel path, SOC is reduced to target SOC in advance by EV travel or the like so that the maximum regenerative power in the slope-descending is secured. When a battery temperature is low, since a regenerative amount in the slope-descending is small, an SOC reduction amount in the SOC reduction control is made small and the target SOC is set relatively high.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 4

    【課題】走行経路に降坂路が予測されるときのSOC低下制御を、バッテリ温度に応じて適切に行う【解決手段】ハイブリッド車両は、内燃機関によって駆動される発電用モータジェネレータと、バッテリによって駆動される走行用モータジェネレータと、を備える。降坂路では回生により電力が回収される。走行経路に降坂路が予測されたら、予めEV走行等によりSOCを目標SOCまで低下させ、降坂路での回生電力を最大に確保する。バッテリ温度が低いときには、降坂路での回生量が少なくなるので、SOC低下制御のSOC低下量を小さくし、目標SOCを相対的に高く設定する。【選択図】図4
