To transmit and receive power wirelessly when transmission and reception of power cannot be performed in a wired manner.SOLUTION: A vehicle is an electric vehicle which is capable of transmitting and receiving power to and from an external electric system by a wireless power transmission method by which power is supplied wirelessly and by a wired power transmission method by which power is supplied not wirelessly but in a wired manner. The vehicle comprises: a transmission/reception coil for transmitting/receiving power by the wireless power transmission method; an inlet for the wired power transmission method; a battery; and an ECU. The ECU determines whether transmission/reception of power between the battery and a power system via the inlet is incapacitated (step S512), and if it has been determined that transmission/reception of power via the inlet is incapacitated, performs control so that power is transmitted/received between the battery and the power system via the transmission/reception coil (step S516).SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 4
