To solve the problem that, while the following methods [1] chemical rockets, [2] electrical rockets, and [3] swing-by are conventionally available for obtaining propulsion power in transition flights (interplanetary flights) of a planetary probe in the aero-space, these methods have advantages and drawbacks with regard to "magnitude of thrust" and "acceleration possible time" and the like, and therefore there is a need for a propulsion method that more efficiently enables long distance flights.SOLUTION: A cylindrical hollow device is loaded with gunpowder and a matter (solid) using a mechanism different from that of a conventional propulsion device. When the gunpowder in the cylinder is exploded, the matter (solid) is fired (ejected) outside of the cylinder. Provided is a device (rocket) that utilizes a counterreaction (reaction) of the firing (ejection) action of the matter (solid) obtained at this time, as propulsion power.SELECTED DRAWING: None
