To provide a structure making it possible to dispose a battery unit 6 ahead of a front seat and to preserve a space at the foot of an occupant of the front seat.SOLUTION: A battery unit arrangement structure includes a dash panel vertical wall 4 partitioning a vehicle compartment 1 and an engine room 11 from each other, a floor panel 2 forming the floor of the vehicle compartment 1, and a corner 5 bent to connect a lower end of the dash panel vertical wall 4 and a front end of the floor panel. A battery unit 6 is attached to the corner 5 ahead of a front seat with the top face inclined to descend backward in a vehicle so that the rear end is located at a lower position than the front end is. The battery unit 6 is shielded from above with a cover member 8 that is inclined to descend backward in the vehicle so that the rear end is located at the lower position than the front end is.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 3
