To provide an ocean current power generating system which can preferably control positions of a floating body and an ocean current power generator.SOLUTION: An ocean current power generating system includes: a floating body which floats on a sea surface; a cable in which a first end is connected to a first anchor installed on a sea bottom and a second end is connected to a second anchor installed on the sea bottom and which is partially supported on the floating body; a winding device which is mounted on the floating body and exerts a force on the cable to relatively move the floating body relative to the cable; and one or more ocean current power generators which are attached to a space between the first anchor and the floating body in the cable and changes ocean current energy into electric power in the sea.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
