To achieve excellent sound insulation in a mounting method for an automobile component using a soundproof material, by providing the soundproof material with sound insulation equal to or better than that of a conventional soundproof material in a structurally simple manner, against noises such as noises intruding into a cabin due to vibrations generated by the automobile component and a panel (dash panel) for separating the inside and outside of the cabin from each other.SOLUTION: A soundproof material for an automobile is made of a urethane foam material. The urethane foam material has a single layer structure. The urethane foam material has a uniform thickness, or the thickness of only a needed region is increased. An automobile component can be mounted while the urethane foam material is compressed.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1

    【課題】車室内外を隔てるパネル(ダッシュパネル)や自動車用部品が発する振動に起因する、車室内へ侵入するノイズをも含めて、従来と同等以上の防音性を有する防音材を簡易な構造で実現し、該防音材を用いた自動車用部品の取り付け方法において優れた防音性を実現すること。【解決手段】ウレタンフォーム材からなる自動車用防音材であって、前記ウレタンフォーム材は、単層構造を有するものであって、前記ウレタンフォーム材は、厚さが均一もしくは必要とされる部位のみの厚さが増加されたものであり、前記ウレタンフォーム材を圧縮させながら、自動車用部品を装着することが可能なことを特徴とする。【選択図】図1
