To provide a technique for surely opening a parachute even when an effect of an air flow at the time of flight or falling of a flight device cannot be quickly obtained.SOLUTION: A parachute device includes: a parachute 10; a cylindrical storage part 20 for storing a parachute 10 whose one end is opened and other end has a bottom part 22; a gas generator 30 which is mounted on the bottom part 22 of the storage part 20 and generates gas; at least one flying body 50 which is arranged in a peripheral surface part 21 of the storage part 20 and is connected to the parachute 10; an ejection part 40 which is arranged in the peripheral surface part 21 of the storage part 20 and is connected to the gas generator 30, and can hold the flying body 50 by gas from the gas generator 30 so as to be capable of ejecting the flying body 50; and a catapult 60 which is slidably mounted on the gas generator 30 so as to extrude the parachute 10 from the side of the bottom part 22 toward an opening 23 of the storage part 20 by the gas from the gas generator 30.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 5A
