To accurately determine residual amount of liquid stored in a tank mounted to a vehicle.SOLUTION: During stop of a vehicle 1, a vehicle stop time water level hmt of urea water in an urea tank 40, longitudinal acceleration Gx and lateral acceleration Gy are detected (S11), and urea water amount is calculated from an urea water amount calculation map by using the detected vehicle stop time water level hmt, longitudinal acceleration Gx and lateral acceleration Gy (S12), so as to estimate residual amount of the urea water in the urea water tank 40.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 3
