To provide a signal reception/transmission angle localization method for a tire air pressure monitoring system, which calculates angle localization by an AOA (arrival angle) localization method or an AOD (transmission angle) localization method to acquire final position information.SOLUTION: The signal reception/transmission angle localization method comprises: a signal trigger step of triggering a transmission antenna of a tire air pressure detector to transmit a wireless signal; a signal reception step of receiving the wireless signal by a reception antenna of a reception device and setting a direction for transferring the wireless signal from the tire air pressure detector to the reception device as a linear distribution direction; and an azimuth angle calculation step of calculating an included angle held between the linear distribution direction and an intersection point of a straight line for connecting two optional transmission antennas, calculating an included angle held between the linear distribution direction and an intersection point of a straight line for connecting two optional reception antennas, and calculating information about the azimuth of a tire on the basis of the included angles.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2
