To detect turning of a vehicle while reducing the processing load and suppressing processing delay.SOLUTION: A vehicle-mounted device 20 acting as veering detection device is configured such that, upon occurrence of a right-turn event associated with a right turn of a vehicle 12, a processor 20A acquires the steering angle of the vehicle 12 and yaw angle of the vehicle 12 from the time of occurrence of the right-run event, and detects the turn of the vehicle provided that the maximum value of the steering angle exceeds a first threshold value and the yaw angle exceeds a second threshold value.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2
