To suppress a failure during lifting.SOLUTION: A charging stand is a facility which can supply electric power to an electric vehicle on a ground and comprises: a power supply unit for supplying electric power to the electric vehicle; a movable portion that includes the power supply part and can be displaced between a position where the power supply unit is housed under the ground and a position where the power supply unit is exposed on the ground; an actuator for a lifting device which displaces the movable portion; a contact sensor that detects a contact of an object with the movable portion; an indicator lamp that indicates a contact of an object; and a control device that controls the actuator and the indicator lamp. When a contact of an object with the movable portion is detected by the contact sensor (YES in step S312 and step S322), the control device controls the actuator so as to inhibit the lifting of the movable portion (not processing to step S313, and step S323), and controls an indication unit so as to indicate the contact of the object (step S314, step S315, step S324 and step S325).SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 5
