To reduce an impact caused by a collision which occurs between an own vehicle and a counter vehicle, having a height different from a front end of a front side frame of the own vehicle, when the vehicles pass each other and absorb collision energy generated by an SOT collision occurring at an outer side of the front end of the front side frame.SOLUTION: A vehicle body front part structure 10 includes: a front side frame 11 extending in an anteroposterior direction and having a hollow shape; a first reinforcement plate 21 disposed within the frame 11 and having a C shaped cross section; and a second reinforcement plate 22 disposed at the front side of the first reinforcement plate 21 within the frame 11. The frame 11 includes a ridge line extending in the anteroposterior direction. The first reinforcement plate 21 is arranged so that a ridge line of the C shaped cross section overlaps with the ridge line of the frame 11. In the second reinforcement plate 22, the front end side is offset to an outer side as seen in a vehicle width direction relative to the rear end side and the rear end side is aligned with the front end side of the first reinforcement plate 21 in the anteroposterior direction.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
【課題】自車のフロントサイドフレームの前端と高さが異なる相手車両とのすれ違いを抑制できると共に、フロントサイドフレームの前端部外側のSOT衝突による衝突エネルギーを吸収すること。【解決手段】車体前部構造10は、前後方向に延設された中空形状のフロントサイドフレーム11と、フレーム11の内部に配置されたコ字断面形状の第一補強板21と、フレーム11の内部で第一補強板21の前方側に配置された第二補強板22と、を備える。フレーム11は、前後方向に延設された稜線を備え、第一補強板21は、コ字断面形状の稜線をフレーム11の稜線に重ね合わせるように配置されている。第二補強板22は、後端側よりも前端側が車幅方向外側にオフセットしているとともに、後端側が第一補強板21の前端側と前後方向に整列している構成とした。【選択図】図1
