To provide a stay for supporting a supported article disposed in front of a driver seat, which can be fitted to an A pillar with high rigidity without interfering with a fixed article, for example, even when the fixed article is provided on the side surface of the in-vehicle side of the A pillar.SOLUTION: This stay comprises: an attachment 2 fitted to an A pillar 104; and a support 3 extending from the attachment 2 to support a supported article 103. The attachment 2 has first and second fixed parts 21 and 22 fixed to the side surface of the in-vehicle side of the A pillar 104 and spaced apart from each other, and a connection 23 for connecting the first and second fixed parts 21 and 22. The connection 23 has a bent shape projected in a direction away from a driver seat 102 with respect to a virtual straight line L connecting the first and second fixed parts 21 and 22.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
