To provide a battery device for an automobile and a cooling system for the automobile and the battery device.SOLUTION: A battery device for an automobile includes a first battery module (1) with a first housing (5.1), a second battery module with a second housing, a coolant channel (12), and a battery module connector (13) for electrically connecting the first battery module (1) and the second battery module. The first housing (5.1) and the second housing have coolant inlet opening portions (10) on their respective end sides (5') opposite each other in a second direction (Y) arranged perpendicular to the first direction, and include respective coolant outlet openings (11) centrally located in the first housing (5.1) or the second housing in the second direction (Y) and leading into the coolant channel (12).SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2
