To make it possible to appropriately control or assist vehicle driving without requiring a roadside sensor.SOLUTION: A traffic communication method executed by a wireless roadside machine 200 for road-to-vehicle communication comprises: a step S1 of periodically broadcasting a notification message for notifying a presence of the wireless roadside machine 200 in a first transmission system; a step S2 of receiving a vehicle information message including information of a vehicle 100 from the vehicle 100 which has received the notification message; a step S3 of generating a traffic control message for instructing or assisting vehicle driving based on the vehicle information message; and a step S4 of broadcasting the traffic control message in a second transmission system.
