To provide an automatic operation unit which makes it possible to perform an automatic operation by attaching to an existing vehicle for work and is capable of manually operating by a person if doing not perform automatic operation as well as an automatic lawn mowing system which uses the same.SOLUTION: An automatic operation unit 80 makes it possible to perform automatic operation by attaching to an existing vehicle 10 for work. Therefore, it can restrain introduction cost extremely low. In addition, the automatic operation unit 80 is configured so as not to impede the operation manipulation by a person. Therefore, workers and so on can operate the vehicle 10 for work while remaining to attach the automatic operation unit 80. In addition, an automatic lawn mowing system 100 acquires self position information on the basis of positioning information of a mobile station 103 acquired on the basis of a signal from a GNSS satellite 104 and positioning information of a reference 102. Therefore, it is capable of acquiring the self position information in unit of a few centimeters and can travel on a preset route extremely accurately.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1

    【課題】既存の作業用車両に装着して自動運転を可能とするとともに、自動運転を行わない場合には人による手動運転が可能な自動運転ユニット及びこれを用いた自動芝刈りシステムを提供する。【解決手段】この自動運転ユニット80は、既存の作業用車両10に装着して自動運転を可能とする。このため、導入コストを極めて低く抑えることができる。また、この自動運転ユニット80は人による運転操作を阻害しないよう構成されている。このため、作業者等は作業用車両10を自動運転ユニット80を装着したまま運転することができる。また、この自動芝刈りシステム100は、GNSS衛星104からの信号に基づいて取得した移動局103の測位情報と基準局102の測位情報とに基づいて自身の位置情報を取得する。このため、自身の位置情報を数センチメートルの単位で取得可能で、予め設定されたルート上を極めて正確に走行することができる。【選択図】図1
