To provide a vehicle for material collection which can automate the loading/unloading work of lumber at a loading position, an unloading position and the like.SOLUTION: A vehicle for material collection comprises: a vehicle body part 10 which can travel; an arm 20 which is provided in the vehicle body part 10; a grapple device 30 which is provided in the arm 20; a drive control unit 51 which controls the drive of the vehicle body part 10, the arm 20 and the grapple device 30; an imaging unit 70 which images the periphery of the vehicle body part 10 and the periphery of the grapple device 30; and an image recognition unit 52 which recognizes lumber W in the image. The drive control unit 51 controls the drive of the vehicle body part 10, the arm 20 and the grapple device 30 in accordance with a recognition result of the image recognition unit 52.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
