To reduce a load acting on a boom, according to a ship unloader constituted in such a manner that it is made possible to load a tip of the boom on a receiving facility such as a hopper or the like.SOLUTION: A ship unloader 10 comprises a landing wheel 71 provided so as to be received by a hopper 100 that receives a bulk material 200 from the ship unloader 10, that is arranged onto a tip side on an opposite side of a base end side on which an elevation support shaft 12 out of a boom 13 is arranged; and a buffer mechanism 72 for buffering a load acting on the landing wheel 71 by connecting the landing wheel 71 with the boom 13.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2
