To individually provide a system or a method for a flow of a cooling agent to each of a plurality of energy storage devices stored in an electric vehicle.SOLUTION: Each of energy storage devices 10 includes a segment type battery module 13, and a heat exchanger 11 including an HE flow controller 11C. The segment type battery module 13 includes a battery cell 13B and sensors 13C, 13D and 13E, and individual sensor information is collected through BMUs 13A of each of the segment type battery modules 13. A charge SCC22 uses the individual sensor information so as to cool the battery cell 13B of the energy storage device 10, and calculates a flow rate of a cooling agent HE delivered by a pump through the heat exchanger 11 of each of the energy storage devices 10. The cooling agent supplied to the heat exchanger 11 is cooled by an external cooling unit 21 of a power source 20 during each charging session.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 4
