To provide a vehicle control system capable of reducing the intervention frequency of travel support control by a vehicle travel control apparatus, thereby suppressing an occupant's discomfort and anxiety.SOLUTION: A vehicle control system includes: an automated driving control apparatus for generating a target trajectory for automated driving; and a vehicle travel control apparatus for executing vehicle travel control so that a vehicle follows the target trajectory. On the basis of driving environment information acquired from a plurality of sensor devices, the vehicle travel control apparatus determines whether an actuation condition for travel support control to reduce a risk to the traveling of the vehicle is satisfied, and executes the travel support control when the actuation condition is satisfied. Further, the vehicle travel control apparatus generates risk information on the basis of the driving environment information, and transmits the risk information to the automated driving control apparatus before the actuation condition is satisfied. Then, the automated driving control apparatus generates or corrects the target trajectory on the basis of the received risk information.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 6

    【課題】車両走行制御装置による走行支援制御の介入頻度を下げて乗員の違和感や不安感を抑制することのできる車両制御システムを提供する。【解決手段】車両制御システムは、自動運転のための目標トラジェクトリを生成する自動運転制御装置と、車両が目標トラジェクトリに追従するように車両走行制御を実行する車両走行制御装置と、を備える。車両走行制御装置は、複数のセンサ装置から取得した運転環境情報に基づいて、車両の走行に対するリスクの軽減を目的とした走行支援制御の作動条件が成立するか否かを判定し、作動条件が成立する場合、走行支援制御を実行する。また、車両走行制御装置は、運転環境情報に基づきリスク情報を生成し、作動条件が成立する前に当該リスク情報を自動運転制御装置へ送信する。そして、自動運転制御装置は、受信したリスク情報に基づいて、目標トラジェクトリを生成又は修正する。【選択図】図6
