To provide a boom device capable of preventing deviation in a width direction of a beam at the time of opening and closing even when an outer link is used.SOLUTION: A boom device includes a base end side beam, a tip side beam, a link mechanism, and a boom opening/closing cylinder, in which the link mechanism has an outer link 41 arranged so as to sandwich the base end side beam or the tip side beam from outside in a width direction, and is rotatably connected to each of the base end side beam, the tip side beam and the boom opening/closing cylinder at journal parts, the boom opening/closing cylinder is rotatably connected to each of the base end side beam and the link mechanism, and the outer link 41 has the journal parts at two places, a pair of plate-like parts 411 and 411 facing in the width direction, and a connection part 412 for connecting the pair of plate-like parts 411 and 411 between the journal parts at the two places.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 5
