To provide a power transmission shaft that can regulate movement of a weight in an axial direction with respect to a fiber reinforced resin pipe body.SOLUTION: A power transmission shaft 1A comprises a fiber reinforced resin pipe body 20 formed of fiber reinforced resin in a pipe shape, and a balance weight 50A as a weight attached to the fiber reinforced resin pipe body 20. A concave part 20b is formed in an outer peripheral surface of the fiber reinforced resin pipe body 20. At least a portion of the balance weight 50A is housed in the concave part 20b of the fiber reinforced resin pipe body 20.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
