To provide a mower configured to predict a battery consumption speed and battery level change, workable time from a state where the battery is fully charged and battery replacement time.SOLUTION: A mower 10 comprising a mowing motor 70 and travel drive motors 20A and 20B: receives user's setup/input of a target number of rotations and power consumption of the mowing motor 70; retains the setup target number of rotations of the mowing motor 70; calculates an actual power consumption value changing according to load fluctuation in the mowing motor 70 caused by increase/decrease in an amount of grass by using a battery current measured by a current sensor 132; and acquires a new target number of rotations of the travel drive motors 20A and 20B from a difference between the calculated actual power consumption value and the setup value of the power consumption so as to control a travel speed such that the actual power consumption value becomes within a range of the setup value of the power consumption.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 17

    【課題】バッテリの消費速度や残量変化、およびバッテリを満タンにした状態からの作業可能時間やバッテリ交換時期の予測が可能な草刈り機を提供する。【解決手段】草刈りモータ70および走行駆動モータ20A.20Bを備えた草刈り機10において、ユーザによる草刈りモータ70の目標回転数および消費電力の設定入力を受け付け、設定された草刈りモータ70の目標回転数を維持するとともに、電流センサ132により測定したバッテリ電流を用いて、草の量の増減に伴う草刈りモータ70の負荷変動に応じて変化する実使用電力値を求め、求めた実使用電力値と消費電力の設定値との差分から、走行駆動モータ20A.20Bの新たな目標回転数を得ることにより、実使用電力値が消費電力の設定値の範囲内になるように走行速度を制御する。【選択図】図17
