To provide a laser observation system for observing a target object with laser light at high accuracy, in which the discrimination of a light-receiving signal from distance measurement data of laser observation containing noise and the light-receiving signal in a mixed state can be facilitated.SOLUTION: A laser observation system 1 includes a telescope directed to a target object, a laser oscillation unit that continuously excites a plurality of pulsed laser beams radiated toward the target object, a transmission optical unit corresponding to a path of the pulsed laser beams between the telescope and the laser oscillation unit, a reception optical unit that detects each of the reflected pulsed beams received from the telescope, and a data processing unit that sends the continuous pulsed laser beams to the target object while varying in a predetermined variation pattern and performs a distance measurement process based on each detection timing of the reflected pulsed laser beams detected in the reception optical unit, so as to generate distance measurement data.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1

    【課題】目標物体をレーザ光で高精度に観測するレーザ観測システムにおいて、ノイズと受光信号が混在するレーザ観測の測距データから、受光信号の判別を容易化する。【解決手段】レーザ観測システム1に、目標物体に向けられる望遠鏡と、目標物体に向けて放射するパルスレーザ光を連続して複数励起するレーザ発振部と、望遠鏡とレーザ発振部との間のパルスレーザ光の経路である送信光学部と、望遠鏡から受光した反射パルスレーザ光各々を検出する受信光学部と、所定の変動パターンで可変させながら目標物体に向けて連続したパルスレーザ光の送出を実行させると共に、受信光学部で検出された反射パルスレーザ光各々の検出タイミングに基づく測距処理を実行して測距データを生成するデータ処理部とを設ける。【選択図】図1
