To provide a technique for a ground unit by which an on-board unit can properly detect the ground unit while increasing a transmittable information amount.SOLUTION: A ground unit 1 comprises a first resonant circuit and a second resonant circuit. The first resonant circuit has an inductor L1 and resonates at a first resonant frequency to respond to a transmission signal from an on-board unit. The second resonant circuit has a second inductor L2 and resonates at a second resonant frequency to respond to the transmission signal. The first inductor L1 has a form whose lateral central part is recessed to shorten the length in a longitudinal direction in a top view where the train travel direction is defined as the longitudinal direction. The second inductor L2 has a form whose longitudinal central part is recessed to shorten the length in the lateral direction in the top view. The first inductor L1 and the second inductor L2 are arranged to overlap each other.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2
