To suppress harmonic voltage of a motor without increasing power loss in a switching operation of an inverter.SOLUTION: In a motor controller 1, a gate signal generation unit 18 can generate a gate signal according to any of a plurality of pulse patterns with mutually different phases of harmonic waves contained in AC power to be output from an inverter. The motor controller 1 switches pulse patterns of the gate signal to be generated by the gate signal generation unit 18 on the basis of random numbers in switching timing of integer multiples of 120 degrees in an electric angle of a motor.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2
