To determine the deterioration of a secondary battery on the basis of a user manipulated variable and a controlled variable that are used for the control of a hybrid vehicle.SOLUTION: A deterioration determination device for a secondary battery is used for a hybrid vehicle which includes: an engine for outputting power for traveling; a motor for outputting power for traveling; the secondary battery for supplying and receiving electric power to and from the motor; and a control device for executing travel control to control the engine and the motor such that the hybrid vehicle travels while adjusting at least the amount of fuel injection of the engine on the basis of at least an accelerator opening. The deterioration determination device for the secondary battery determines the deterioration of the secondary battery on the basis of data in a prescribed period of a third parameter as a difference between a first parameter based on the accelerator opening and a second parameter based on the amount of fuel injection.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 4
