To provide a sound insulation member structure which is excellent in versatility with no limitation imposed on its use by a vehicle model and a bumper design and enables effective reduction of road noise in a rear passenger compartment.SOLUTION: A sound insulation member structure 10 of the invention includes: an outer panel 12 at a vehicle body rear part; a rear bumper 11 provided so as to cover the outer panel 12; and a sound insulation member 20 disposed between the outer panel 12 and the rear bumper 11. The sound insulation member 20 has: a fixed part 21 fixed to the outer panel 12; and a flap part 22 which contacts with the rear bumper 11 in a state that the rear bumper 11 is attached to a vehicle body.
