To solve the problem in which: it is difficult to automate assembling work since there is a case where a direction of an outer cylinder does not coincide with a lower arm in conventional assembling of a rear suspension.SOLUTION: A device assembles a rear suspension RS to a vehicle body B. The rear suspension RS has: a shock absorber A connected to the vehicle body B; and a lower link 3. The device includes: a lifting platform L which sets a rear suspension R; and a rotation adjusting mechanism 12 of an outer cylinder A1. The rotation adjusting mechanism 12 has a rotation driving section 16, a rotation detection section 17, and a rotation control section 18. A direction of the outer cylinder A1 with respect to the lower link 3 is automatically adjusted and automation of assembling work to the vehicle body B is achieved even in the rear suspension RS having the shock absorber A in which the outer cylinder A1 is rotatable around an axis line.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2
