To evaluate positioning accuracy in a system for performing positioning by a satellite.SOLUTION: Disclosed is a positioning system for acquiring a positioning error of a positioning device for performing positioning based on positioning signals transmitted from a satellite. This system includes: detecting means for detecting that a vehicle has passed a fixed point whose coordinates are known; positioning means for storing a positioning result by the positioning device mounted on the vehicle in association with time information included in the positioning signal; and error acquiring means for acquiring the positioning error of the positioning device based on the positioning result corresponding to the detected time and the coordinates of the fixed point.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
