To provide a wheel mounting structure which facilitates attachment/detachment of each component to/from a traveling carriage.SOLUTION: A wheel mounting structure 10 includes a mounting base 11, a geared motor 100 and a wheel 17. The mounting base includes a mounting frame 14 having an opening 15 opened in an axle direction. The geared motor includes a housing 111 extending in an axle direction. The housing is provided with a hollow cylindrical part 112 storing at least a speed reduction mechanism on a tip side of a driving motor 101, and a flange part 113 which has an outer peripheral shape projecting perpendicular to the axle direction from the outer periphery of the hollow cylindrical part, and is brought into contact with the mounting frame over the whole circumference of the opening. The geared motor is divided into a base end side part 112a positioned on a side closer to a base end side than a flange part in the axle direction, and a tip side part 112b positioned on a side closer to a tip side than the flange part, and has such an outer peripheral shape that the base end side part can pass through the opening in the axle direction, and the flange part and the mounting frame are fixed to each other by a bolt.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
