To suppress occurrence of cracking in a tire side part after vulcanization molding.SOLUTION: A pneumatic tire 1 includes a pair of beads 10 in a tire width direction, a carcass ply 13 bridged over the pair of beads 10, and a tire side rubber 20 that is arranged outside in the tire width direction of the carcass ply 13 and is formed with a rim line 20a inside in a tire radial direction on an outer surface 20b. The tire side rubber 20 includes a side wall rubber 21 positioned outside in the tire radial direction, and a rim strip rubber 26 positioned adjacent to inside in the tire radial direction. An interface 30 between the side wall rubber 21 and the rim strip rubber 26 in a meridian cross section extends stepwise outside in the tire width direction toward the inside in the tire radial direction, and is exposed to the inside in the tire radial direction from a position of 3 mm to the outside in the tire radial direction from the rim line 20a on the outer surface 20b of the tire side rubber 20.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
