To obtain a rubber composition having favorable moldability, hardly generating composition unevenness and exerting excellent tensile strength and wear resistance when used as a tire raw material.SOLUTION: An objective rubber composition has an iodine number of 10 to 270 g/100 g and includes the ethylene structure of 3 mass% or more. In the composition, the block amount of vinyl aromatic monomer is 10 mass% or less and the content of a vinyl aromatic monomer unit is 5 mass% or more. The composition has a peak in each zone of molecular weight of 350,000 or more and that of 5,000 to less than 350,000 in the molecular weight distribution of rubber-like polymer by a GPC (gel permeation chromatography) method. In the measurement of GPC with a viscometer, the average bifurcation degree of the rubber-like polymer of the molecular weight, 350,000 or more is 3 bifurcations or more and besides, the ratio of BA to total area of AA and BA,(BA)/(AA+BA) is in the range of 50 to 90% when AA denotes the area of the rubber-like polymer of the molecular weight of 350,000 or more, and BA denotes that of the molecular weight of 5,000 to less than 350,000.SELECTED DRAWING: None

    【課題】良好な成形性を有し、組成ムラが発生し難く、タイヤの材料として用いたときに優れた引張強度及び耐摩耗性を示す、ゴム組成物を得る。【解決手段】ヨウ素価が10~270g/100g、エチレン構造を3質量%以上含み、ビニル芳香族単量体ブロック量が10質量%以下、ビニル芳香族単量体単位の含有量が5質量%以上であり、GPC法によるゴム状重合体の分子量分布において、分子量35万以上にピークを有し、分子量5,000~350,000未満にピークを有し、粘度計付きGPC測定において、分子量350,000以上のゴム状重合体の平均分岐度が3分岐以上であり、GPCの分子量分布曲線において、分子量350,000以上のゴム状重合体の面積をAA、分子量5,000~35万未満のゴム状重合体の面積をBAとした場合に、AAとBAの合計面積に対するBAの割合(BA)/(AA+BA)が、50~90%である、ゴム組成物。【選択図】なし
