To provide a vehicle occupant assistance device that can assist an occupant who puts on make-up when the vehicle is traveling.SOLUTION: A vehicle occupant assistance device 10 predicts an acceleration to occur when a vehicle 12 is traveling. When a make-up mode is activated, assistance information is reported before a predetermined acceleration occurs, based on the predicted acceleration. Since the assistance information is reported to an occupant before the vehicle shakes at the predetermined acceleration, assistance can be provided to the occupant who puts on make-up when the vehicle is traveling, by taking the shake of the vehicle into consideration.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1

    【課題】走行中の車両の車室内で化粧をする乗員を支援することができる車両用乗員支援装置を得る。【解決手段】車両用乗員支援装置10では、車両12の走行中に発生する加速度を予測する。また、化粧モードが起動すると、予測された加速度に基づいて、所定の加速度の発生前に支援情報を報知する。これにより、所定の加速度で車両が揺れる前に、乗員に支援情報が報知されるため、車両の走行中に化粧を行う乗員に対して、車両の揺れに配慮した支援を行うことが可能となる。【選択図】図1
