To provide an on-vehicle device, an abnormality detection method, and an abnormality detection program that can perform more stable time synchronization among on-vehicle devices.SOLUTION: The on-vehicle device includes a processing unit and a detection unit. The processing unit, on the basis of the propagation delay time of data between the other on-vehicle device, which is another on-vehicle device, and own on-vehicle device of the same, performs time synchronization between the other device and own on-vehicle device of the same, receives request information from the other device to request time information used for updating the propagation delay time, and transmits the time information to the other device.
