To provide an auxiliary wheel mounting device that can reduce the number of components with a single screw fastening location and prevent tilting or deformation of a mounting plate.SOLUTION: An auxiliary wheel mounting device includes: an auxiliary wheel to be pivotally supported by a lower end portion of a stay 21; a mounting plate 4 positioned on an outside surface of a rear pawl portion 9 at a vehicle body rear part; and a fastening member 7 to be screwed to a rear wheel hub shaft 101. The mounting plate 4 includes a base plate portion 40 in which a through-hole 41 with a diameter coinciding with a diameter of the rear wheel hub shaft 101 is formed. A rotation prevention portion 5 to be engaged with a groove portion of the rear pawl portion is formed on an inside surface of the base plate portion 40, and rib portions 6 are integrally formed at both sides on an outside surface of the base plate portion. The auxiliary wheel includes a mounting plate portion 24 supported at an upper end portion of the stay 21 between the rib portions 6, 6 on the outside surface of the base plate portion 40 of the mounting plate 4 to be pressed by the fastening member 7.
