To provide a thrust generator that can be reduced in size and reduced in weight.SOLUTION: The thrust generator comprises: a thrust generation motor that rotates a plurality of rotary vanes; a pitch angle changing motor that changes pitch angles of the rotary vanes; a first movement converting part that converts rotation of the pitch angle changing motor to a liner movement of a direct-acting shaft; and a second movement converting part that converts the pitch angles of the rotary vanes. The second movement converting part has a hub that rotates, a plurality of grips that support the rotary vanes respectively, a second movement converting mechanism that converts the linear movement of the direct-acting shaft to rotation movements of the plurality of grips, and a plurality of radial bearings that rotatably bears the grips respectively. The hub has an integrally-formed non-divisible case that encases inner end portions of the plurality of grips, the second movement converting mechanism, and the plurality of radial bearings.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 24
