To provide a grease solidifying-reduction device capable of reducing solidification of grease on a rope and a sheave.SOLUTION: A grease solidifying-reduction device 31 comprises sheave heating means to heat a sheave 21 to wrap a rope, and reduces the solidification of a grease adhering to a rope 19 by heating the sheave 21 in an elevator building. The sheave heating means comprises heat source equipment 25 installed in the elevator building and to generate heat, and a heat guide member to guide the heat of the heat source equipment 25 to the sheave 21. The heat guide member comprises a heat sink installed in a hoist 7, a blower to blow air to the heat sink, and a guiding duct 39 to guide the blown air to the sheave 21.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
