To enable a small-sized submersible vessel to be easily switched between remote operation and manual operation.SOLUTION: First-seventh actuators 52-64 which operate operation members for navigating a small-sized submersible vessel 10 are attachably and detachably arranged at a position where manual operation of the operation member is not inhibited. In a remote operation mode, the first-seventh actuators 52-64 are controlled and the operation members are operated on the basis of a remote operation instruction information generated by a remote operation device 80, so that the small-sized submersible vessel 10 can be remotely controlled. In a manual operation mode, the first-seventh actuators 52-64 are brought into a servo-free state, so that the operation members are allowed to be manually operated by an operator. Further cameras 20A-20D which photograph the circumference to generate image information are provided in the small-sized submersible vessel 10, and the image information is displayed by a display part 96 of a remote operation device 50.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2
