To provide a crawler unit of a crawler type vehicle capable of more surely removing earth and sand adhering to the inner side of a crawler and curling up in the travel.SOLUTION: A crawler unit 20 of a hydraulic excavator comprises: a crawler frame 4: an endless crawler 6 which is provided so as to be circularly movable along the ground surface; a travel motor which is provided on one end side in the front-rear direction of the crawler frame 4; and a travel motor case 51 which covers the travel motor. Partition members 7, 8 are provided in the travel motor case 51. The partition members 7, 8 have partition plates 73, 83 which extend toward the side of the crawler 6 from the side of the travel motor case 51 so as to partition a gap between the travel motor case 51 and the crawler 6. The in-plane direction of the partition plate is inclined with respect to the movement direction of the crawler 6.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 3
