To drastically improve accuracy in acquiring a traffic state of a target intersection by providing a traffic state acquisition method based on an actual traffic flow state.SOLUTION: A method for acquiring a traffic state comprises: acquiring monitoring data of at least one camera in a group of cameras, each of the cameras capable of photographing a driving state of a different or the same road section of a target intersection; determining, based on the monitoring data acquired from each camera, a moving trajectory of a reference object recorded by each camera; acquiring a complementary trajectory by fusing motion trajectories of the same reference object; and finally predicting a traffic light indication state of a corresponding road according to a road forward direction in which the complementary trajectory is located.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2
