To provide a head-up display device and a mirror member that can reduce the possibility that a double image is sensed by an occupant while reducing the number of films of a mirror member formed of a dielectric multilayer.SOLUTION: The head-up display device includes a display unit, a plane mirror 30, and a concave mirror. The plane mirror 30 is formed to reflect image light emitted from the display unit to the concave mirror. The plane mirror 30 has a structure in which a dielectric multilayer 32 is added to a surface of a black glass as a base material 31. Since the base material 31 is formed as a black glass and transmissive light which can be generated due to a small thickness of the dielectric multilayer 32 is thus absorbed in the base material 31, the possibility that a double image is displayed is reduced.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 7

    【課題】誘電体多層膜を用いてなるミラー部材の膜数を削減しつつ、二重像が乗員に知覚される恐れを低減可能なヘッドアップディスプレイ装置、及び、ミラー部材を提供する。【解決手段】ヘッドアップディスプレイ装置は、表示器と、平面鏡30と、凹面鏡とを備える。平面鏡30は、表示器が出射された画像光を凹面鏡へと反射する構成である。平面鏡30は、基材31としての黒色のガラスの表面に、誘電体多層膜32が付加された構成を有する。基材31が黒色ガラスとして構成されていることにより、誘電体多層膜32が薄いことにより生じうる透過光は基材31内で吸収されるため、二重像が表示される恐れを低減できる。【選択図】図7
