To provide a light source unit for a vehicular lighting fixture that more improves light-emission efficiency of a semiconductor light-emitting element, and to provide a vehicular lighting fixture.SOLUTION: A light source unit 1 for a vehicular lighting fixture includes a fitting member 2, a substrate 3, two semiconductor light-emitting elements LED1, LED2 and three terminals T1, T2, T3 which constitute a socket S as an integrated structure, while a control circuit 4 is configured separately from the socket S.EFFECT: The control circuit 4 is separated from the substrate 3 of the socket S, thereby more improving light-emission efficiency of the semiconductor light-emitting elements LED1, LED2.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2
