To provide an installing method of a mooring system capable of reducing man-hours required for a holding power test.SOLUTION: An installing method of a mooring system comprises a connection process and a process of holding power tests at the same time, where the connecting process connects the first mooring line 33a, the second mooring line 33b, and the test line 43 to the working ship 5 so that a second tensile direction D2 same as the combined direction of the extending directions of a second mooring line 33b and a testing line 43 is opposite to a first tensile direction D1 in which a first mooring line 33a extends across a working ship 5 used for the holding power test, and the process of holding power tests at the same time keeps the tension of the first mooring line 33a above the prescribed first design tension, keeps the tension of the second mooring line 33b above the prescribed second design tension, and performs simultaneously the holding power tests of the first mooring line 33a and of the second mooring line 33b with the tension of the first mooring line 33a and the combined tension of the second mooring line 33b and of the testing line 43 in balance.
