To make a deployment speed of an airbag quicker than conventional airbags when the airbag is deployed beyond a frame body of an airbag door.SOLUTION: At a frame body 54 of an airbag door 50 is formed with ribs 57 each including a welded surface 57A to be welded to a rear surface of an instrument panel upper segment 20. The rear surface of the instrument upper segment 20 is formed with extension tear lines L4 extending from front and rear ends of a pair of lengthwise tear lines L3, facing the frame body 54 and extending in a vehicle fore and aft direction, to end edges of the instrument upper segment 20 as seen in the vehicle fore and aft direction. Installation densities of the ribs 57 at four corners of the frame body 54 of the airbag door 50 are lower than installation densities of the ribs 57 at areas other than the four corners.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 3
