This compression unit 12 is formed at a position of a sound node of a frequency to be erased. Therefore, noise can be effectively eliminated. Moreover, since a structure does not form ribs or the like, it is possible to prevent an engine compartment from narrowing.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1

    【課題】配置スペースが狭くなることを抑制でき、しかも、騒音を効果的に吸収できる吸音材を得る。【解決手段】本フードサイレンサ10の圧縮部12は、エンジンやモータ等の騒音発生源とは反対側へ向けて開口されている。この圧縮部12は、消したい周波数の音の節の位置に形成されている。このため、騒音を効果的に消すことができる。しかも、リブ等を形成する構成ではないため、エンジンコンパートメントが狭くなることを防止できる。【選択図】図1
