To provide a system and a method for performing gaze determination using a glare as an input.SOLUTION: There are provided machine learning system and method for learning a glare, and thereby determining a gaze direction by a method having larger resistance against an influence of the glare in an input image. The machine learning system has a glare separation expression, for example, information on a position of a glare point in the image, as an explicit input, in addition to the image itself. In the method, the machine learning system explicitly considers the glare during determination in a gaze direction, and thereby creates a more accurate result for the image including the glare.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1B
